Koko is a young Indian Ringneck around 2 years old. She is incredibly interactive and talkative, and loves to spend time with her people. While still shy when it comes to stepping up, Koko loves to fly towards her people and spend her time on a knee or a shoulder. She will even ask, “whatcha doin’, baby?”! She does well with other birds, though she will keep her distance. As long as they give her space, she is a happy girl!

Currently, she is still quite shy when it comes to stepping up on a hand – which is very typical of an Indian Ringneck. She is excellent at stepping up on a perch. Koko is learning how to recall and has shown great progress with other tricks such as target, spin, and going into her carrier.

Koko loves to learn and would do well with someone who can give this intelligent girl more challenges!

A very typical Ringneck, Koko is firm with her boundaries and will nip if she is pushed.

She would do well in a patient, respectful home that will listen to her body language and go at her pace.
