Bella (1.5 years old) a smart, affectionate, high-contact “Velcro” bird who thrives on interaction and loves being close to her person—she especially enjoys being held and will happily rub her head against your hand for attention. She’s quick to learn and already target/clicker trained, with sunflower seeds as her favorite high-value reward. Bella does best with someone experienced or attentive to body language, as she will “correct” if sensitive pin feathers are touched or if she’s pushed past her comfort (for example, being put in her cage before she’s ready). She does not enjoy being alone and may flock call, and will demand attention if ignored—but for the right home, her intelligence, strong bond, and big personality make her incredibly rewarding! Bella’s bottom beak overgrows quickly – she will need regular beak trims.
