Not every bird will fit into your lifestyle. Our board members will ask you many questions to determine which bird will do well in your home and which will not. This way we can be sure to set everyone up for success … and love for its lifetime!
We adopt on a best-home, best-match basis. The process can take a few weeks to complete, from application approval to final home visit. Please be patient – parrots live for many years and we take our time ensuring each bird is suited to the right home.
Adoption Fees are non-negotiable. Fees are based on age, species, temperament, and medical history. 100% of the proceeds from our adoption fees go towards caring for future parrots that come into care.
Please note that birds are in foster homes across Southern Alberta and you must be willing to drive to the foster home location to meet the bird and then again to complete adoption. We do not do same day meet-and-adopt.
- We do not ship parrots. In-person meets are required.
